Welcome to MTC! Your child has been selected by his or her teacher or school administrator to receive additional support from one of our volunteer tutors. We are excited to partner with you!
In order for your student to be matched with a tutor, please review and complete the following:
Tutoring Platform: Google Meet (Los Altos) and Zoom (Mountain View)
One-on-One Tutoring will be provided via Zoom or Google Meet. In person tutoring will become available based on district approval and tutor availability. The tutoring platform will be determined by your child’s school. Students are expected to login to remote tutoring from campus on a school issued device. In the event that a student is required to stay home from school for an extended period, please communicate with your child’s teacher and tutor to arrange a tutoring schedule.
Once your child is matched with a tutor, we will do our best to set up tutoring during the school day. Your child’s teacher or school administrator may contact you to ask for availability of your student before or after school (8:00 – 8:30 am, 2:30 – 4:00 pm).

Student/Family Commitment to Remote Tutoring
- Students attend scheduled sessions on time and prepared with necessary materials and limited distractions
- When needed, students cancel sessions in advance by contacting their tutor via email
- Tutors may be reassigned if multiple remote sessions are missed
